A large cloud of dust surrounded Flame Prince, when the cloud vanished there laid a woman with white hair and gray skin. She woke up, “Darn it, you damaged my magic.” she said.

“Who are you?” Ice Queen asked.

“My name is Ashley, you witch.” she replied.

“Don’t call me a witch! You’re the one who almost killed Marshall and Fionna.”

“I would’ve gotten away with it if weren’t for you!” Ashley screamed.


Marshall Lee woke up under the tree near Ashley and Ice Queen. His skin was covered in horrible burns and cuts. “What happened?” he asked himself. He looked up, “Ashley?” Marshall was so weak and tired he became unconscious again.    


Fionna, Cake, LSP, Prince Gumball, and Marshall’s mother were heading to the area Marshall Lee was. Fionna had healed a little, but she was still too hurt to do anything really. They arrived to find Ice Queen, standing beside Ashley’s half frozen body. Ashley was trapped in a block of ice, unable to move, but still yelling. Marshall was on the ground near death.


“WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?!” Marshall’s mother screamed at Ashley.

“What you told me to do.” Ashley answered.

“Hurting Marshall wasn’t part of the plan! You were supposed to only lure the girl to me.”


Marshall’s mother broke the block of ice and gripped Ashley’s neck.

“Give me one good reason I shouldn’t kill you.” she said.

“I followed most of the plan.” Ashley argued.

“Yes, but you endangered my son’s existence and you know how special my son is to me!”

“Alright, there are too many witnesses here to report you to the authorities.”

“I rule the Nightosphere, I control almost everything.”


Prince Gumball interrupted, “I also rule the Candy Kingdom and I do not object to what she’s going to do to you. If Marshall dies, you’re guilty of murder, which is punished with a death sentence depending on what degree it is.”


Marshall’s mother dragged Ashley by her neck into the forest. “I’m sorry for what happened.” she apologized. “I never meant to cause so much trouble. I also apologize to Fionna, I never knew how much my son loved her.” With that, she walked back into the shadows and all that was heard were Ashley’s screams of pain and agony.


Fionna woke up and looked at her friends. “What happened?” she asked.

“There was a very long fight during the evening.” Prince Gumball said.

“Where’s Marshall? How is he” she asked

Cake put her paw on Fionna’s shoulder. “Baby, I’m so sorry, but I don’t think Marshall is doing very well and I think his time is almost up.”

“What do you mean?” Fionna asked.
“Maybe you should go look for yourself.” Prince Gumball said while patting Fionna’s back.
